Our After School Club starts from the end of the school day and finishes at 6.30pm. We can cater for children attending the following schools:
– Hampton Infants
– Hampton Junior School
– Buckingham School
– Carlisle School
– St Mary’s CE School
– Twickenham Prep School
– Hampton Pre-Prep
We collect the children from school using our dedicated nursery cars and bring them to our After School Club.
Children arriving for the After School Club after a busy day at school are provided with a fruit snack, juice and a rice cake, cracker or wholemeal bread. Afternoon tea is then served shortly afterwards.
Our team is experienced and energetic. This enables us to offer an environment whereby children can either choose to relax and unwind after the school day or if they are feeling more energetic participate in the choice of games and activities on offer. Each day has a different theme taught by a qualified specialist teacher.
Example week schedule:
Monday – Cooking
Tuesday – Playball
Wednesday – Yoga
Thursday – Science and technology
Friday – Creative movement
By having our own cars enables our children to occasionally visit places further afield after school, all with prior planning and permission from parents.
As well as participating in the taught activity, club children have access to a playground and range of indoor activities from which to self select. These include dressing up and role play, painting, junk modelling and other craft activities, sand and water play, large and small construction, team and turn-taking games and much more. Children are encouraged to make suggestions about what resources they would like to play with and qualified and experienced club supervisors are on hand to guide them and make sure everyone is included in the decision making.
We can also arrange 1:1 tuition on site should you be interested in this provision.
Children staying for tea are served a healthy meal shortly after 4.30pm. The menu includes such things as baked potatoes, beans on toast, macaroni cheese, pita bread pizza, pasta and sauce, curry and rice or sandwiches. After tea, children have the opportunity to participate in various activities of their choosing.
