Babies are cared for in our baby room with their own dedicated baby garden. Our baby room is located on its own floor, enabling us to create a calm and homely environment. It is equipped with exciting and stimulating toys, as well as snuggle areas to cuddle up on, have a bottle or bounce to the latest rhyme!
Our practitioners work together to build caring relationships with you and your family. You will have one special practitioner looking after your little one (and you!) with an extended family of practitioners within the room, all of whom know and are able to care for your baby. We ensure your baby’s routine is continued and that we do all the little things you do to ensure familiarity, happiness and continuity from home to nursery – we do this by following guidance from parents and carers.
The benefits of a separate sleep room helps to emulate the home environment with each child having their own sheets and blankets. As your child develops, we will work in partnership with you, to consistently support the child’s home routine with regards to weaning, sleeping, feeding and meeting your child’s changing individual needs. Parents are required to provide formula milk which we will prepare on site for you, nappies and wipes – aside from this everything else is provided by the nursery.
Your child’s individual learning and development is planned for, using observations carried out by your child’s key person, taking into account their current interests and dislikes. This in turn maximises your child’s learning and development.
