Nursery Information

When your child starts at Aston Pierpoint we want to ensure a happy transition from home to us.
We ask you to work in partnership with us by providing as much information about your child as possible. We also ask for you to integrate your child into their new routine gradually, with you staying for planned sessions and leaving for short periods. (When possible).
We recognise that your working day does not always allow time for lengthy discussions with your carer, so to continue this partnership we provide daily chat cards to ensure you know all about your child’s day.

Food and Drink

At Aston Pierpoint we believe in providing quality throughout.Healthy minds and bodies begin from within. We have planned our menus to ensure that your child’s nutrition matches recommended intake levels ensuring a balanced diet which in turn, aids your child’s physical and intellectual development.

All meals are freshly prepared on site by our chef. We can also cater for individual dietary needs. Our menus are readily displayed within the nursery.

Outside and Outings

Playing outside is a vital element that exercises your child’s muscles and minds. Our gardens have been designed as an essential teaching and learning environment with various areas to explore.
All children have access to the gardens every day. Outings within the local community, such as parks and shops are also frequently planned.

School

When your child leaves Aston Pierpoint their next step is full time school. However, many of our local schools initially offer part time places only. We will work with you to ensure a smooth transition and if informed in advance, we will do our best to continue our services until your child starts full time school.

Brothers & Sisters

We have a flexible approach to ensure that siblings within the nursery are able to spend time together, to suit their individual needs.

Free Nursery Education

Aston pierpoint is a daycare and educational establishment with a full time early years teacher. We have access to funding for a number of 3 year olds and all 4 year olds to receive free nursery education. Nursery education is an area of expertise at Aston Pierpoint. Our nursery manager will explain this opportunity in more detail for you.
